Polyvinyl chloride water supply pipe ( PVC-U )

UPVC , also known as hard PVC or PVCU, is an amorphous thermoplastic resin made by polymerization of vinyl chloride monomer and certain additives ( such as stabilizers, lubricants, fillers, etc. ) . In addition to using additives, it is also blended with other resins to make it have obvious practical value. These resins include CPVC , PE , ABS , EVA , MBS , etc. UPVC has high melt viscosity and poor fluidity. Even if the injection pressure and melt temperature are increased, the fluidity does not change much. In addition, the molding temperature of the resin is very close to the thermal decomposition temperature, and the temperature range for molding is very narrow. It is a material that is difficult to mold.

PVC-U pipes are widely used in water supply pipes (non-drinking); rainwater pipes, etc., which are non-toxic, pollution-free and corrosion-resistant. The applicable temperature is not greater than 40 degrees (cold water pipe), and the diameter is usually 32mm-800mm

The wall surface of PVC pipe is smooth and has low resistance to fluid. Its roughness coefficient is only 0.009 , which is lower than other pipes. Under the same flow rate, the pipe diameter can be reduced.

4. High mechanical strength

PVC pipes have excellent water pressure resistance, external pressure resistance , and impact resistance, and are suitable for piping projects under various conditions.

5. Good electrical insulation

PVC pipe has excellent electrical insulation properties and is suitable for conduits of wires and cables, and wire piping in buildings.

6. Does not affect water quality

Dissolution tests have proven that PVC pipes do not affect water quality and are currently the best pipe material for tap water piping.

7. Simple construction

The joint construction between PVC pipes is quick and easy, so the construction cost is low
